The death has occurred of Maureen Hogan (nee) Higgins Leure, Tunnyduff, Bailieborough, Co.Cavan. Died Friday 23rd January 2026, peacefully surrounded by her loving family in the wonderful care of the staff at Fairlawns nursing home, in her 99th year.

Predeceased by her husband Paddy, her brothers and sisters.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her sister-in-law Mary Higgins, nieces and nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

May Her Gentle Soul Rest In Peace.

Reposing at her residence this Sunday 25th January from 12 noon concluding with prayers at 5.15pm, followed by removal arriving at St. Bridget's Church Knockbride West (A82W271) for 6pm. Funeral Mass Monday morning at 11am followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Family flowers only please donations in lieu if desired, to the patients comfort fund Fairlawns nursing home, care of the undertaker or any family member.
