Maureen Hughes
(née Redmond)
HUGHES (Nee Redmond) (Palmerstown, Dublin and formerly of Nash Street, Inchicore, Dublin) March 5th 2026 peacefully surrounded by her family and in the loving care of the staff at Meadow View, Peamount Health Care. Maureen (Dolly), beloved wife of the late James, cherished mother of Alan, Gillian, Terry and Rachael, devoted grandmother to Aisling, Cian, Becky, Daniel, Eoin, Dara, Sophie and Roisin and great-grandmother to her five greatgrandchildren. Sadly missed by her loving family, brother Tom, sister-in-law Maureen, son-in-law Jimmy, daughters-in-law Anne and Elaine, her grandchildren’s partner’s, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Rest in Peace
Reposing at Cunningham's Funeral Home, Lucan on Sunday evening (March 8th) from 4pm to 6pm. Removal to St. Philomena’s Church, Palmerstown on Monday morning (March 9th) arriving for Requiem Mass at 10am followed by cremation in Glasnevin Crematorium. Maureen’s Funeral Mass can be viewed by following this LINK on Monday morning (Live only). Family flowers only, please. Donations if desired to a charity of your choice.
