The death has occurred of Maureen Kane, (née Lydon) Mullaghgloss, Renvyle, Co. Galway. and formerly of Glengowla, Oughterard, Co. Galway.

Maureen passed away suddenly at Galway University Hospital on 20th of February 2026.

Predeceased by her dear parents Matty and Mary Lydon, and her brothers Christy, and Sean.

Maureen will be forever missed by her children, Gemma, Patrick, Eamon, and Michael, and by Gemma's partner Andy and her adored grandson Conor.

Deeply mourned by her brothers, Tom, and Pat, and her sister Ann, nieces, nephews, extended family, kind neighbours, and many caring friends.

MAY HER GENTLE SOUL REST IN PEACE.

Reposing in Christ the King Church Tullycross (H91D285) on Tuesday 24th of February from 5 until 7pm. Funeral Mass for Maureen will take place on Wednesday 25th of February at 12pm and after Maureen will be laid to rest in Tooreena Cemetery.
