The death has occurred of Maureen Kenny (nee Mulrooney), Ardagh, Glinsk, Ballymoe, via Castlerea, Co.Galway on January 21st, 2026, peacefully at home, surrounded by her devoted loving family.

 

Pre-deceased by her beloved parents, Willie and Bridget, brothers Johnny, Seamus, Tony, Mattie, Liam and her infant grandsons Eamonn and Gerard.

 

Maureen will be deeply missed by her devoted husband, John, her loving children Tommie, Marie, Margaret, Carmel, Liam and John, cherished grandchildren, Eóin, Conal, Oisín, Dáire, Ruairí, Jayden, Joshua and Odhrán, daughters-in-law, Riona, Bernie and Laura. Also missed by her sister Helen Walsh (Rosscahill), sisters-in-law, Una Mulrooney (Ballygar) Nora Mulrooney (Ballygar) and Mary Kenny, (Glinsk), nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

 

MAY MAUREEN'S GENTLE SOUL REST IN PEACE

 

Reposing at St.Michael's Church, Glinsk, Co.Galway (F45 XN29) on Thursday 22nd January from 5pm to 8pm. Removal from her residence on Friday 23rd January to St.Michael's Church, Glinsk for funeral mass at 12 noon, with burial afterwards in Ballinakill cemetery.
