Maureen Kenny
(née Mulleady)

Maureen Kenny (nee Mulleady), Corroclough, Kiltoom, Athlone, and late of Clonkeen, Taughmaconnell, Co. Roscommon, Saturday, February 7th 2026, Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, in the tender loving care of the staff of Roscommon Hospice, age 93 years.

Much loved wife of the late Tommy and loving mother of Mary (Cunniffe), Geraldine (Kenny), Declan, Anne (Higgins), Irene (Fleming) and Catherine (O’Brien).

Maureen will be forever loved and dearly missed by her son and daughters, sons-in-law Patrick, Johnny, Domo, Paul and Ted, daughter-in-law Blaithín​​ her 18 adored grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, her sisters Eileen and Sr. Nuala, brothers Eugene and Anthony, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours, a wide circle of friends and her fellow handmaids at Our Lady's Shrine, Knock.

Maureen is now reunited with her beloved Tommy, sisters Bridie and Frances and brother Michael John.

May her Gentle Soul Rest In Peace.

Maureen will repose at St Brigid's Funeral Home, Brideswell (N37 EK88) on Tuesday evening (Feb 10th) from 4 o'c until 7 o'c.

Mass of the Resurrection will take place in the Church of the Risen Christ, Ballybay, Kiltoom (N37 NY36) on Wednesday morning (Feb 11th) at 11 o'c with burial afterwards in the local cemetery.
