MAUREEN MAGUIRE Cluain Bhríde, Ballintubber, Co Roscommon and formerly of Corbally, Donamon, Co. Roscommon.

Maureen passed away suddenly but peacefully, in the loving care of her family, on Sunday, 11th January 2026, aged 42 years.

Beloved mother to Eva and Jarlath. Deeply regretted by her parents Mary and Pat Maguire, brothers Charles, Gerry, Damien and Aidan, her partner Aidan Scanlon, aunts Anne Conlon, Margaret Higgins, Patricia Noone and Mary Handy (Clara), uncle Oliver Maguire (Lanesboro), sisters-in-law Edel and Nadia, Eva’s father John Murphy, her cousins, nieces and nephews Amelia, Cian, Patrick, Nova and Sophie, her many friends, neighbours and work colleagues in Tesco Roscommon.

She is predeceased by her grandparents Charlie & Maureen Conlon and Eugene & Margaret Maguire.

May Maureen’s kind and gentle soul rest in peace.

Reposing at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon (F42 NH27) on Thursday evening from 4.30 o’c until 7 o’c (with a short comfort break at 5.30 o’c). Removal to St Patrick’s Church, Clooneycolgan (F42 NR28) on Friday morning arriving for Mass of the Resurrection at 11.30 o’c. Burial afterwards in Oran Cemetery.
