On November 17th 2024, peacefully in the presence of her loving family, in the care of the loving and caring staff of Norwood Grange Nursing Home; Maureen (née McSweeney, Dirrees, Coolea), beloved wife of James and much loved mother of Eleanor (Kilnamartyra), Noreen (Aherla), Tim (Berrings) and Sinéad (Lehanaghmore); sister of Murchadh, Dan and the late Patrick. Loved and adored Grandmother of Colm, Mary Ellen, Michael, Órla and Brian, mother-in-law to Denis Kelliher, Vincent O’Riordan, Margaret, and Sinéad’s partner, Colm Walsh. Sadly missed by her husband, daughters, son, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, brothers, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, kind neighbours, and her wide circle of friends.

Rest in Peace

Reposing at her home (P31 PW44) on Tuesday evening from 6pm, with prayers at 8pm.

Requiem Mass at 2pm Wednesday (20th) in St John the Baptist Church, Ovens.
Funeral afterwards to the adjoining cemetery.
