Maureen Whelan (née McKey)
Willow Grove, Carrick Road, Dundalk.
Peacefully in her 98th year on Saturday, 18th April 2026
At Silver Stream Nursing Home.
Predeceased by her husband Patrick, parents Vincent and Margaret-Ellen, sister Margaret Nugent (in March of this year), brothers Gerard, Bryan, Vincent and Desmond.
Maureen will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her sons and daughters Patricia, Laura, Pascal, Noelle, Adrienne and Damien, son-in-law Sean, daughters-in-law Ann and Jane, her adored grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, extended family relatives, neighbours and friends.

Removal on Wednesday Morning at 10.40am proceeding on foot from her residence to the Carrick Road entrance,
then driving to St. Patrick’s Cathedral [A91 T623] arriving for Funeral Mass at 11 o’clock.
Followed by burial in St. Patrick's Cemetery [A91F598].
