Maureen McGovern (nee Moran)
Quayside House, Newport.
Suddenly but peacefully under the care of ICU, Mayo University Hospital on the 26th Dec, 2025.
Maureen will be sadly missed by her daughters Sharon and Cathy her son Sean, grandsons Arran and John, granddaughter Chloe, her daughter-in law Siobhan, son-in law Louis, her sister Kathleen (McManamon) and brothers, Patrick, Kevin, Bernie, Marty and Michael, her nieces, nephews and all her family and friends. Predeceased by her husband Johnny, her parents Thomas and Katie Moran (Rosturk), brothers Brendan, John and Tommy.
May her gentle soul rest in peace.
Reposing at her home Quayside, Newport, F28 XR22 from Sunday 4pm - 7pm.
Funeral mass will take place in Newport Church on Monday 29th December at 11am with burial afterwards at Burrishoole Cemetery.
House private at all other times.
