On 28th March 2025, died peacefully at her daughter Breeda’s residence Quarry Cross, Gneeveguilla, surrounded by her loving family.

Maureen, predeceased by her husband Willie, son Billy, brothers Sonny, Paddy Joe, Tim Joe and sister Cecila.
Maureen will be sadly missed by her much-loved daughter Breeda, son in law Nicholas, sisters Joan Beranger (USA) and Breda Falvey, grandchildren Declan, Billy and his wife Triona, Lorna and her fiancé Donal, great-grandchildren Shauna, Logan, Hannah, Avery, William and Adam, sister in law, brother in law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at St Bridget’s funeral home, Gneeveguilla (P51T657) on Sunday 30 March from 6pm to 8pm. Reception into The Church of the Holy Rosary Gneeveguilla on Monday for requiem mass at 11am. Burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Maureen’s mass can be viewed live from the following link:
