Clerkin Funeral Directors regret to announce that the death has occurred of Maureen Murray, 2 Tirkeenan, Monaghan Town, and formerly of Ballina, Co Mayo, Thursday 15th of January, surrounded by her loving family in the excellent care of the staff in Mullinahinch Nursing Home.

Predeceased by her son Mairtín, her beloved grandson Dónal, her parents and her brothers..

Maureen will be forever loved and cherished by her husband Cathal, children Dolores (Seamie Deeney), Aine (Michael O’Sullivan), Ciaran (Deirdre Sheridan), Paula (Paul O’Carroll), daughter-in-law Collette, her 18 adored grandchildren, her sisters Breege, Madeline, Ann, her nieces, nephews, neighbours, friends and all who knew and loved her.

Maureen will repose at Clerkins Funeral Home, Milltown, Monaghan (H18YF22) on Sunday the 18th of January from 2pm concluding with prayers at 7pm. Maureen’s funeral procession will arrive on Monday (19th) to St Macartan’s Cathedral for 11am Funeral Mass, followed by burial in Latlurcan cemetery.
