Maureen O'Brien
(née Murphy)
Maureen O’Brien (née Murphy), late of Greystones, Co. Wicklow and formerly and proudly of Cork City, died on 20th October, 2022, peacefully, in her 92nd year, in the amazing care of all the staff in Wicklow Hospice. Predeceased by her husband Dermot and son Adrian. Maureen’s memory will live on with her children Shane, Donagh, Orla, Patrick and Catriona, sons and daughters-in-law Ronan, Alan, Pauline, Mel and Veronica and her adoring 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Sadly missed by her extended family, neighbours and wide circle of friends.
Reposing at Colliers Funeral Home, Old Connaught Avenue, Bray on Monday (24th October) from 5.00pm-7.00pm. Funeral Mass on Tuesday (25th October) at 10.00am in the Holy Rosary Church, LaTouche Road, Greystones followed by burial in Redford Cemetery, Blacklion. The Mass may be viewed online at gkpastoralarea.ie. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to Wicklow Hospice or Greystones Cancer Support.
