The death has occurred of Maureen O’Donnell (Née Fagan) – late of Hillside Drive, Mullingar – May 18, 2025 (peacefully) in the company of her loving family and in the gentle care of the staff at the Midland Regional Hospital, Mullingar and previously in the excellent care of the staff at Newbrook Lodge.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Paul, her twin brother Michael, sister Bonnie (Russell), and brothers Christopher and Vincent.

Dearly beloved and missed by her children Anna-Marie (Mills), Ita, Deirdre, Joan (Orrell) and Frank, sons-in-law Alan and Andy, daughter-in-law Alison, her beloved grandchildren, Mark, Conor, Aisling, Amelia, Ingrid, Lilly, Sarah, Elizabeth, Anne, Emma, Maeve, Roisín and Jenny, great-grandchildren Ayla and Avie, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives and her many friends.

MAY MAUREEN REST IN PEACE

Reposing at Gilsenan’s Funeral Home, College Street, Mullingar N91 K660 on Thursday May 22, 2025 from 4.30 pm to 6 pm followed by Removal to the Cathedral of Christ the King arriving at 6.30 pm.

Maureen’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday May 23, 2025 at 11 am. The Mass may be viewed on the live webcam at www.mullingarparish.ie.
Burial will take place afterwards in Ballyglass Cemetery.
