Maureen O’Keeffe (Nee Allen)

Maureen passed away on 9th March 2025, in the wonderful care of the staff at Drakelands House Nursing Home. Predeceased by her parents Paddy and Mary and siblings Breda, Teresa, Pat, Carmel, John and Phyllis. Beloved wife of the late Eamonn and much loved mother of Edmund, Vivienne, Geraldine, Rosemary and Catherine. Maureen will be deeply missed by her loving family, daughter-in-law Karen, sons-in-law Paschal, John and Tom, her 12 grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
The family would like to thank in a special way all the carers who looked after Maureen at home over the last number of years.
May her gentle Soul Rest In Peace

Reposing in Johnston’s Funeral Home, John’s Green, Kilkenny (R95XE00) on Thursday (13th March) from 4pm with Funeral Prayers at 7pm followed by removal to St. John’s Church. Requiem Mass on Friday morning at 10.30am. Funeral afterwards to Kilree Cemetery, Kells, Co. Kilkenny.
