Maureen O'Rourke
(née Dee)

Maureen O’Rourke nee Dee of Kilgulbin, Ardfert, Co. Kerry and formerly Meenoline, Templeglantine, Co. Limerick, died peacefully on 7th March 2024, beloved wife of the late Thomas, adored mother of John, Margaret (O’Donnell- Killorglin), Helen (Sexton- Ardfert), Billy and the late Damien (died December 2022) and dear sister of David, Michael, Maurice and the late William.

Sadly missed by her loving family, her grandchildren Máire, Jack, Thomas, Anna, Jonathan, Liam, Mollie & Ella, nephews, nieces, sons-in-law John & Anthony, daughters-in-law Ann & Antoinette, relatives and many friends.

Reposing at The Gleasure Funeral Home, Tralee on Sunday (10th March) from 2 to 4 pm. Requiem Mass for Maureen will be celebrated at 11 am on Monday in St. Bernard’s Church (streamed on churchmedia.tv/st-bernards-church-abbeydorney. Interment afterwards in the Abbey Cemetery, Ardfert.

Donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, to The Palliative Care Unit, U.H.K. (via “Donation” link below – Kerry Hospice Foundation), or care of the Gleasure Funeral Home, Tralee.
