Maureen Raleigh (nee Woods) Ballasport, Hill of Down and formerly The Downs, Mullingar. 9th March, in her 92nd year, peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Tommie, son Mike and daughters Olive and Noeleen, her son in law Michael McGuire and her sisters Bernadette Raleigh and Carmel Bennett. Loving mother of Anne, Tommy, Mary, Carmel and Colm. Sadly missed by her family, her daughter in law Theresa and son in law Dessie, her deeply loved and treasured 16 grandchildren along with her adored 18 great grandchildren, her sisters Nancy, Peggy Lily and Kathleen, extended family, neighbours and friends.

May Maureen Rest in Eternal Peace

Reposing at Heffernans Funeral Home, Main Street, Longwood (A83 W722) on Wednesday from 5pm with prayers at 7pm. Removal from her home on Thursday morning to arrive for Funeral Mass at 12 noon in the Church of Our Lady & Saint Dominic, Killyon followed by burial in Saint Mary’s Cemetery, Killyon.

Maureen's family would like to thank her carers for the exceptional care, kindness and support shown to their Mum. Our thanks also to all the staff at the Clinic, Kinnegad and Gildea’s Pharmacy for all their help.
