The death has occurred peacefully of Maureen Traynor (née Comey), Rahardrum, Virginia, Co. Cavan, in her 96th year, at St. Joseph's Nursing Home, Virginia on 31st March 2020. Predeceased by her husband Gerard, brothers Peter and Jim, sisters Bridie, Elizabeth, Rosaleen, Kathleen and Dympna. Maureen will be sadly missed by her son Tom, daughter Rose Mary, daughter-in-law Rita, her adored grandchildren Eoin, Orla, Brian, and Conor, nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
Maureen's family would like to acknowledge the wonderful care, attention and kindness shown to their mother by the staff of St. Joseph’s Nursing Home during her time there. Many thanks also to Dr. Gilsenan for her dedicated care.
May Maureen's gentle soul Rest In Peace.
Due to Government regulations regarding public gatherings, the Funeral Mass will be held in private with just immediate family.
