The death has taken place of Maureen Vaughan (nee Fitzgerald) on February 20th 2024, surrounded by her much loved and loving family, and the caring staff of Araglen Nursing Home, Boherbue. She is predeceased by her parents Brigie and Denis, her sisters Hannah Mary and Eileen, her brothers Billy, Michael, Danny and Richie and her husband Con. She is deeply mourned by her children Tim (and Barbara Harris USA), Colette (and Kevin Murphy, Cullen), Majella (and Robert Walker USA), Denis (and Josephine, Castlemagner) and Teresa (and Andrew O’Brien, Aghada), her sister Breda (Curley, Macroom), her brothers Denis (Mallow), Sonny (Boherbue) and John (Newcastlewest); her grandchildren Muireann, Daniel, Hannah, Conor, Gerard, Andrew, Aoife and Cormac, sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Grace’s Funeral Home, Kanturk (Postcode P51 WDX8) from 6pm to 8pm on Thursday, 22nd February, followed by prayers. Requiem Mass at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Kanturk on Friday at 2 pm, followed by burial at Boherbue Cemetery. Mass will be live streamed on https://www.churchservices.tv/kanturk.
