Maureen Wallace,

Maureen died on Saturday, 5 August, in wonderful care at the Galway Hospice. Loved by so many and in particular by her brother Seán, his wife Ann and their daughter Elaine, by her sisters-in-law Mary Wallace and Nora McDonagh (née McDermott), by her much- loved nieces and nephews Mary, Martina, Cathy, Fiona, Patrick, Alfred and Keith Heenan, Sharon and Regina Wallace and their families. She will be sadly missed by the many friends she made throughout her life and those lovely friends in the Connacht Laundry, the extended Wallace family and friends.

Pre-deceased by her parents Colm and Mary (née O’Donnell) and sisters baby Barbara, Úna, Anne, Bridie and recently deceased brother Michael.

Reposing at ‘St. Pio’s Room’ within the Church of the Sacred Heart, Seamus Quirke Road, Galway, on Wednesday, 9 August, from 5.30 p.m. with Removal into the Church at 7 p.m. Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Maureen on Thursday, 10 August, at 12 noon and following Mass she will be laid to rest in Rahoon Cemetery.
