On Wednesday, 3rd December 2025, Maureen, peacefully passed away after an illness bravely borne in the tender and loving care of her family and the staff at the Kanturk Community Hospital, Co. Cork. Maureen is predeceased by her loving parents Abina and Ralf, her late husband Colin, her brother Anthony Elston, her sons Andrew and Anthony and daughter Marie. She is sorely missed by her children Michael, Ginny and Maxine and best friend Sinead, her six grandchildren, fifteen great- grandchildren, her great-great grandchild, extended family, neighbours and friends.

 

May her Gentle Soul Rest in Peace

 

 

FUNERAL STRICTLY PRIVATE

 

No flowers on request of the family. Donations in lieu, if desired, to Kanturk Community Hospital (Irish Cancer Society).

 

A private family service will take place at The Island Crematorium, Rocky Island, Ringaskiddy on Friday, 5th December 2025
