Maurice Bambrick

The death has occurred of Maurice Bambrick, Kilrush Clonmellon Co. Westmeath. Maurice passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family in Dunshaughlin Care Home in his 97th year. Predeceased by his parents Julia and Richard, sisters Anna and Gabrielle, his first wife Elizabeth and second wife Patricia.

Sadly missed by his loving family, his daughters Maeve and Nuala, grandchildren Ellen, Laura, Sinéad, Matthew and Aoife, son-in-law Paul, sister Eithne, grand-nephew Paul, stepchildren, grandchildren and great-grandchildren in Solihull UK, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, neighbours, his loyal companion Charlie and wide circle of friends.

Reposing at his residence in Kilrush, Clonmellon (C15 PP74) this Sunday from 3pm. Removal on Monday morning arriving for Funeral Mass at 10:30am in Sts. Peter and Paul’s Church, Clonmellon, followed by burial in Glasnevin Cemetery, Dublin.

The Bambrick family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Rooney and staff in Athboy Family Practice, their father’s carers, district nurses and Meals on wheels team also to the Doctors, Nurses and staff of Dunshaughlin Care Home for the excellent care and kindness shown to their father and to them in the last number of days he spent with them.
