Maurice Cahill

Maurice Cahill, Butlers Lane, Athy, formerly Kilmeedy, Co. Limerick. Sun Rise 15th August 1944 - Sun Set 28th June 2025. Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Mary Ann, his sisters Maura Meehan and Nora Cahill. Maurice will be sadly missed by his sisters Ellen Lynch, Sr. Hannah and Maureen Cahill, his niece Nora Pooley and his many nephews. Maurice will also be missed by his many friends in Athy.

Maurice will repose at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Chapel Hill, Mount Hawkins, Athy (R14 NX80) on Friday 4th July from 5pm until 7pm with prayers at 6.30pm. Funeral will leave his home (Butlers Lane, Athy) on Saturday 5th July at 9.30am to arrive at St. Michael’s Parish Church, Athy, for Requiem Mass at 10am. After Mass Maurice’s Funeral cortège will leave Athy for his beloved Limerick, where he will be laid to rest with his parents in Clouncagh graveyard, Newcastle West (V94 DF7P) at approximately 2pm.
