Peacefully, in the kind and gentle care of the staff at Dealgan House Nursing Home. Honorary president of Clan na Gael GAA Club, committee member for 40 years, past player & minor selector. Pre-deceased by his beloved wife Therese, daughter Elaine and grandsons Shane & Oisín. Maurice will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his cherished children Regina, Caoimhe, Bronagh, Adrian, Maurice Jnr, Breffni and Darren, adoring grandchildren & great grandchildren, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, sister Briege Duffy, brother Jimmy, nieces, nephews extended family, neighbours and friends and the whole Clan na Gael Community.

The funeral cortège will leave Dixon's Funeral Home on Monday morning at 10.20am, proceeding on foot from the Clan na Gael pitch arriving for 11am Funeral Mass in the Holy Redeemer Church, following Mass, walking to the Clan na Gael then driving to St Patrick’s Cemetery for burial.
