Maurice McMorrow

Maurice passed away peacefully on the 21st February 2026, surrounded by his loving family, in the wonderful care of the staff of Fairview Community Unit. Beloved husband of the late Elsie, loving father of Mary, Susan, Frank and Jill, wonderful grandad to Ella, Emily, James, Luke, Ellen and Rachel. He will be very sadly missed by his loving family, his brothers Leo and Sean, sisters Marie and Pearl, sons-in-law Rory and Enda and daughter-in-law Sarah, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces and nephews, neighbours and many friends. Predeceased by his brothers Denis and Dermot and sister Josephine.

A gathering of family and friends will take place at the Fanagan-Kirwan Funeral Home, Fairview Strand on Tuesday evening from 5.00pm to 7pm.

Maurice's Funeral Mass will take place in the Church of the Resurrection, Bayside on Wednesday at 10.00am, and thereafter he will be laid to rest with his beloved wife Elsie in Glasnevin Cemetery.
