Maurice O'Brien

The death has occurred of Maurice O’Brien, Spittle, Glenroe, Co Limerick.

Maurice passed away peacefully in St John’s Hospital, Limerick on the 18th of November 2025, following a very short illness. Pre-deceased by his parents Tom and Mary and siblings Biddy, Sr Francesca, Anna, Eily, Kathleen, Alice, Mikey, Dave, and Matt. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Joan, son Mike, daughters Mary and Lelia, daughter in law Mary, granddaughters Maeve, Anna and Muireann, nieces and nephews, brother in law, and sisters in law, extended family and friends.

Reposing at McCarthy’s Funeral Home, Kilfinane (V35 E791), on Friday, 21st November 2025 from 6pm to 8pm. Requiem Mass will take place at Our Lady of Ransom Church, Glenroe on Saturday 22nd November at 11am, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
