Maurice O'Connor
The death has taken place of Maurice O'Connor, Newberry, Mallow and formerly of Lisduff, Ballyheigue, Co. Kerry (ex. Dairygold and former President of Mallow Golf Club) who passed away peacefully on July 23rd 2023 after a short illness, surrounded by his loving family, in the wonderful care of the Staff at Marymount Hospice, Cork, beloved husband of Margaret (nee Lane) and dear father of Áine, Maeve, Eoin and Claire. Sadly missed by his loving wife, family, sisters Doreen (Egan) and Phil (O'Connor), brothers Jim, Joe and Patsy, daughter-in-law Aileen, son-in-law Eoin, Maeve's partner John, adoring grandfather to Olan, Hannah, Oscar and Connor, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
May He Rest In Peace.
Lying in repose at O'Connell's Funeral Home, St. James' Avenue, Mallow (P51 HH61) on Tuesday (July 25th) from 5.30pm with Prayers at 7pm.
Reception into St. Mary's Church, Mallow on Wednesday (July 26th) for Requiem Mass at 2pm which may be viewed on www.churchservices.tv/mallow.
Funeral afterwards to St. Gobnait's Cemetery, Mallow.
