Formerly Derrygorman, Annascaul, Co. Kerry. Retired teacher New Ross Vocational College. Peacefully, at home, surrounded by his loving family.

Deeply regretted by his wife, Pauline, daughter Katie, son John, sisters Eileen (Kilkenny), Kathleen (USA), brothers John (Tralee), Paddy (Dingle), Miko (London), and Jerry (Annascaul), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends. Predeceased by his parents Maurice and Agnes and his sister, Mary.

Reposing at Macken's Funeral Home, Distillery Road, Wexford, Y35 HP29 on Thursday, 6th June, from 4.30 pm with removal at 7.00 pm to The Church of the Immaculate Conception, Rowe Street. Funeral Mass shall take place on Friday, 7th June, at 12.00 noon. Funeral expected to arrive to The Sacred Heart Church, Annascaul on Saturday, 8th June at approximately 2.30 pm for Funeral Prayers followed by burial afterwards in Ballinclár Cemetery.

The family would like to thank all who cared for Maurice on St. Patrick's Ward, Wexford General Hospital and the oncology and palliative care teams in Ely Hospital.
