Maurice O'Grady

Ó GRÁDAIGH / O’GRADY, Maurice (Blackrock, Co. Dublin) – 28th October 2025. Peacefully, after a long illness, in the compassionate care of the staff at St Michael’s Hospital. Maurice, beloved husband of Gobnait and cherished father of Cillian, Sorcha, Cathal and Roisín.

 

Deeply mourned by his devoted wife, sons, daughters, his son-in-law Paul, daughter-in-law Joan, adored grandchildren Oisín, Aisling, Rebecca and Sophie, his step-grandchildren Christopher, Caitríona, Jonathan, Louise and Emma, brothers Louis, Paul and Brian, sisters-in-law Carmel, Marie, Maíre, Clodagh and Yvonne, his brother-in-law Seán, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends. Remembering with love his late sister Jennifer, brothers-in-law Brían and Eoghan and sister-in-law Jackie.

 

A man of deep faith, whose quiet strength, kindness and devotion to family and community touched all who knew him.

Reposing at Fanagan Carnegies Funeral Home, The Crescent, Monkstown on Friday (31st October) from 3 pm to 5 pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday (1st November) at 10 am in St. John the Baptist Church, Blackrock, followed by burial at Shanganagh Cemetery, Shankill.
