August 12th 2025, (peacefully) in the loving and tender care of Adare District Nursing Home. Ex Principal of Kildysart Vocational School. Dear brother of Rosemary Hurley(Lucan) and predeceased by his sister Ann Caulfield(Athenry), and his brothers-in-law Christy Caulfield(Athenry) and Liam Hurley(Lucan). Beloved uncle to Fiona and Ronan Caulfield and Darragh, Orla, Sheena, Aidan, Liam and Enda Hurley. Maurice will be missed by his sister, family, friends and neighbours.

Maurice will repose at Gardner's Funeral Home, The Square, Athenry (H65 EV80) this Friday evening, August 15th, from 5:00pm. Removal at 7:00pm to the Church of the Assumption, Athenry (H65 PV27). Requiem Mass on Saturday, August 16th at 11:00am. Burial afterwards in the New Cemetery, Athenry. Mass will be live streamed on the link below and on local radio 106.5 f/m.
