Mavis Weir
(née Sharpe)

Formerly of Maudabawn, Co. Cavan. Peacefully on Tuesday, 4th May 2021 in St. Mary's Hospital, Castleblayney. Pre-deceased by her beloved husband Willie. Mavis will be dearly missed by her loving family, her daughters Eileen (Dickson, Mullyash) and Muriel (Conlon, Muckno St. Castleblayney), son Harold (Dublin), sons-in-law Wesley, Patrick and Diego, her much loved grandchildren and great-granddaughter.

Resting at her home, until removal on Thursday, 6th May, for Funeral service in Christ Church Aughnamullen, (Latton) at 2pm. Interment afterwards in the adjoining churchyard. Family flowers only. Donations in memory of Mavis, if so desired, to Dementia Ireland (cheques made payable to same) c/o Conly Funeral Directors, Ballybay, Co. Monaghan or any family member.

Due to the current Covid restrictions, the house and funeral are private, please. Mavis's funeral cortège will travel via Derrygooney, Veldin's Cross and on to Aughnamullen Church. Those who wish to line the route may do so. Please adhere to the social distancing guidelines at all times.
