It is with deep sadness we announce the death of May (Mary) Lonergan, who passed away on 25th of June 2025, peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, in the wonderful care of the staff at Cork University Hospital.

May (née O’ Neill) of Rathmore Rd and late of Carrick on Suir. Cherished wife of the late John and adored mother of John, Eamonn, Ann and the late Mary.

Sadly missed by her loving family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, daughters-in-law Annette, Frances, son-in-law Wayne, sisters Kathleen, Peggy, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at Keohane’s Funeral Home, Knights Hill, Old Youghal Road, Mayfield, Cork, on Friday, the 27th of June, from 5-6pm, with prayers at 5:45pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday, the 28th of June at 12.00noon at the Holy Family Church, Military Hill, Eircode (T23 FX28),which will be live-streamed at the following link: Live
