Unexpectedly on Saturday 4th November 2023 (in the exceptional care of Ratoath Manor Nursing Home, Co. Meath).

"Lucerne", Arcadia, Athlone, Co. Westmeath and formerly of Dromod, Co. Leitrim. Predeceased by his beloved wife Mary, sister Eileen (Hanley), twin brother Fr. Gene Cox and younger brother Stanley. Sadly missed by his loving family Mary, Anne Marie, Bernie and Gerard, sons-in-law John and Tom, daughter-in-law Anne, grandchildren Ann Marie, J.J., Gina, Sean, Emma, John and Oran, in-laws, nephews, nieces, relatives and many friends.

Reposing at his residence (Lucerne, Arcadia, N37 WK10) on Tuesday evening from 5pm until 8pm. Requiem Mass on Wednesday in Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Coosan at 11am followed by burial afterwards in Coosan Cemetery.
