On November 13th 2024, peacefully, in University Hospital Limerick, surrounded by her adoring family.

Pre-deceased by her husband Jimmy and her babies Sheila and John.

Mena will be sadly missed by her loving family, daughters Gretta Purcell, Mary Dillon and Carmel O’Carroll, sons Gerard, Séamus and Pat, sons-in-law Tony and Michael, daughters-in-law Julie and Caroline, partners Pat and Bernie, cherished grandchildren David, Kate, Trish and Kevin, Brendan, Elaine and Leah, Tracy, Niall and Shane, Jade and Kyle, treasured great grandchildren Rory, Abby and Finn, Dylan and Nathan, Emma, Kayla and Alex, Páraic, Caragh and Eve, loving nephews and nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends in particular the members of Grange I.C.A. Guild.

May She Rest in Peace

Reposing at Cross’s Funeral Home, Ballyneety, on Saturday, November 16th, from 6pm to 8pm, followed by removal to St. Patrick's and St. Brigid’s Church, Grange.

Requiem Mass on Sunday, November 17th, at 2pm, followed by burial in the adjoining churchyard.

The family would like to thank St. Michael’s Nursing Home, Caherconlish, for the excellent care and kindness shown to mam over the last five months.
