Peacefully, in the gentle care of the staff of St. Francis’ Nursing Home, Mount Oliver. She will be sadly missed by her nephew Tom, his wife Patricia and family, cousins, relatives and friends.

Due to Level 5 restrictions on numbers at funeral ceremonies, Mena’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the presence of her family only.
There will be an opportunity for the community to show support and to remember Mena by being present on the route, socially distanced, on Thursday, January 28th as the funeral cortege passes by her home in Mullatee, proceeding to St. Michael’s Church, Carlingford, via Newry St., Market Square and Dundalk Street for Funeral Mass at 11am.

Tom, Patricia and family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the Sisters, nurses and staff of St. Francis’ Nursing Home for the exceptional care afforded to Mena throughout her time there. In lieu of flowers, they would prefer for donations to be made to St. Francis’ Nursing Home to enhance patient comforts.
To keep everyone safe, please adhere to social distancing, wear a face covering and refrain from handshaking and hugging.
