Michael died peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff of St. Mary's nursing home, surrounded by his loving family.
Beloved husband of the late Terry and much loved father of Geraldine Byrne and Adrian (Sligo).
Deeply mourned and sadly missed by his daughter and son, brother Padraic, sister Teresa, son-in-law Damien, daughter-in-law Carol, his adored grandchildren Lauren and Andrew, Killian, Clodagh and Sheana, the extended Barrett and Ruane family, neighbours and many friends.
May his kind and gentle soul rest in peace

Tuesday, June 17, 2025 - Reposing at the O'Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue (H91V1K8) from 5.00 p.m. with Removal at 6.30 p.m. to the Church of Christ the King, Salthill.
Wednesday, June 18, 2025 - Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Michael at 10.00 a.m. Following Mass he will be late to rest with his beloved wife in Rahoon cemetery.

Parking and entrance to the funeral parlour - Please approach the funeral parlour entrance on foot from Fr. Burke Park. Avoid closed streets after 6 p.m. with reference to Upper Dominick Street and William Street West.
Car parking in the area: Street parking on Fr. Griffin Road, The Claddagh, Henry Street and Sea Road, and very limited on Munster Avenue.
Car Parks: Claddagh Church, Tesco on Fr. Griffin Road and Mill Street which is adjacent to the Garda Station.
