Smithfield, Glantane, Mallow.
Bawney passed away peacefully in the presence of his loving family in Aperee Living, Churchtown on Friday, September 29th, 2023.
Beloved husband of Chrissie (née Buckley) and much loved father of Brendan and John, cherished grandfather of Leon, Gavin, Jerome, Colin and Lily.
Dear brother of Kathleen, Joan, Mary, Donie, Kevin, Martin and the late Paddy, John, Peter and Theresa.
Deeply regretted by his loving wife, family, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, Brendan's partner Anna, nieces, nephews, relatives, kind neighbours and friends.
May Bawney Rest in Peace.
Reposing in O'Keeffe's Funeral Home, Bowling Green, Mallow (P51 XE2T), on Sunday afternoon from 3:30pm to 5:00pm, followed by reception into St. John's the Baptist Church, Glantane.
Requiem Mass on Monday at noon, after which Bawney will be laid to rest in the local cemetery.

The family would like to thank the nurses, carers and staff of Mallow General Hospital and Aperee Living, Churchtown for the excellent care and attention they showed to Bawney during his time in their care.
