Michael Black

Michael Black, Pearse Park, Drogheda, Co. Louth, 21st May 2025. Peacefully at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, surrounded by his loving family aged 85 years. Michael, beloved husband of the late Rita and loving Dad to Elaine, Michael and Brendan.

Sadly missed by his daughter, sons, son-in-law Paul, daughter-in-law Emma, grandchildren Chloe, Michael, Matthew, Adam and Evie, brothers Jimmy, Jackie, Gene and Geezer, sisters Maggie, Annie and Breda, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Predeceased by his brothers Brendan and Sidney.

Reposing at Townley’s Funeral Home, Crosslanes from 5 o’clock until 7 o’clock on Friday evening. A celebration of Michael’s life will be held in the funeral home on Saturday morning at 11 o'clock with cremation afterwards in Dardistown Crematorium, at 1 o’clock. No flowers please.
