Michael (Bobby) Kilkenny

Bobby passed peacefully on Sunday, 3rd of March, surrounded by his heartbroken family, in the loving care of the staff of ICU, University Hospital Galway, after a short illness in his 89th year. Predeceased by his parents Bill and Julia and brother Paddy. Bobby will be sadly missed by his heartbroken wife of 57 years Carmel, his daughters Martina (Reynolds) and Colleen (Cleary), his son Cathal, his sons-in-law Ger and John, his sisters Betty and Mary, his recently deceased brother-in-law Jimmy and his late brother-in-law Paddy, his sister-in-law Marie, his adored grandchildren Luke, Zach, Liam, Saoirse and Muireann, extended family, nieces, nephews, neighbours, many friends and by all the musicians and singers with whom he loved to play.

Bobby will repose in Grenham's Funeral Home, Ballinasloe (H53 HK15) on Wednesday, 6th of March, from 4pm to 7pm. Removal on Thursday to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Creagh for Funeral Mass at 12 noon, followed by burial in Creagh Cemetery.
