Michael Bourke

Michael Bourke, Avondale Park, Mallow, Co. Cork and formerly of Artane, Co. Dublin,

passed away peacefully after an illness bravely fought surrounded by his loving family on August 27th 2025, at the Mercy University Hospital, Cork.

Beloved husband of Patsy, cherished father of Shelly, Lorraine, Caroline and Brendan and adored Gaga to Gavin, Ava, Abbie, Ben, Jessica, Rioghan and Fiadh.

Sadly missed by his loving wife, family, sons-in-law Pat and Jimmy, daughter-in-law Edel, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces and his many great friends and neighbours.

May He Rest In Peace.

Lying in repose at O'Connell's Funeral Home, St. James' Avenue, Mallow (P51 HH61) on Friday (August 29th) from 5.30pm with Prayers at 7pm.

Reception into the Church of the Resurrection, Mallow on Saturday (August 30th) for Requiem Mass at 2.30pm.

Funeral afterwards to St. Gobnait's Cemetery, Mallow.

The family would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge the great care and kindness provided to Michael by Dr. Clare and all the staff at MPHC, Mallow as well as Professor Power and all his team at the Mercy University Hospital.
