Michael Brendan Callaghan

The death has occurred of Michael Brendan (Mike/Bren/Brian) Callaghan, of Valley Stream, New York and Meath Hill, Coolderry, Carrickmacross, Co. Meath, who passed away after a short illness, in his 90th year, on 26th February 2026.

Loving father of Eileen Manning (Keith) and cherished grandfather of Aideen and Cian.

Pre-deceased by his beloved wife Eileen, his parents Francis and Anne, sister Chris, brothers Frankie, Pat, Paul, Gerry and his wife Sheila, nephew Michael and grandnephew Harry, brother-in-law Timo, his wife Noreen, brother-in-law Diarmuid, his wife Anna, their son Patrick and sister-in-law Joan O’Connor (Denis).

Sadly missed and remembered with love by his sisters Margaret and Nancy, sisters-in-law Betty and Bridie, brother-in-law Denis, his extended family, neighbors and friends in the US and across Ireland.

Reposing at O’Keeffe’s Funeral Home, Rathmore, Co. Kerry, (P51 PW88), Sunday March 15th, from 5pm to 6:30pm, followed by removal to the Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, Shrone, (P51 E103). Funeral Mass on Monday March 16th, at 11am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
