Michael Cannon (Malahide, Dublin and Castlebar, Co. Mayo)

Formerly of Cannons Bar, Market Square, Castlebar and Coláiste Éanna Secondary School, Rathfarnham.

Mike passed away peacefully on Sunday April 6th, 2025, while in the loving care of the staff at the Four Ferns Nursing Home, Foxrock.

Predeceased by his loving wife Laura Cannon (née Maguire) and sister Mary Cannon.

Mike was an adored and cherished father, and he will be hugely missed by his beloved daughter Lisa Cannon, sister Patricia, son-in-law Richard, precious granddaughter Seren, relatives, extended family, colleagues and friends, especially his lifelong friends.

Mike will repose at JP Ward & Sons Funeral Home, Sandyford Village (D18 C8P7) on Sunday (April 13th) from 2pm to 4pm. Removal on Monday morning (April 14th) to St. Mary’s Church, Sandyford Village arriving for 11:30am Mass. Click here at 11:30am on Monday morning to view live streaming of Funeral Mass.

On Tuesday (April 15th) Mike will be removed to the Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar arriving for 2pm prayers, followed by burial in the family plot in Castlebar Old Cemetery.
