Michael Carey

Carey (Clonakilty & Milltown, Kerry, & Sutton, Coldfield, U.K.): On 2nd December, 2023, aged 91, peacefully in the care of the wonderful staff of Clonakilty Community Hospital, Michael, beloved husband of Myrle, loving father of Alyson (Tobin), Simon, Yvonne (Hazeldine), Elysia (Mosedale), Claire and Kerry. Sadly missed by his wider family & friends including grandchildren Finnán, Grace, Euan, Iona, Myles, Dara, Éabha, Saffron, Angus, Reuben, Freya, Sofia, Alex, Francesca, Callum, Joshua, Jordan, Joel & Jodie, daughter-in-law Rachel, sons-in-law Michael & Philip, brother of the late Eileen (Tynan), Tom, Jerry, Joan (O'Connor) and Seán. Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at his residence Eircode P85 NP29 on Monday, 4th December from 6pm to 8pm, followed by prayers. Requiem Mass on Tuesday, 5th December at 12 noon at Sacred Heart Church, Lisavaird which will be livestreamed on http://corklivestream.com/funerals. Funeral immediately afterwards to Kilfachtnabeg Cemetery, Glandore.
