Michael Collins

The death has occurred on 26th December of Micheal Collins of Roslevan, Ennis, Co. Clare and a native of Barryroe, Co. Cork, peacefully in Carrigoran Nursing Home, surrounded by his family.

Pre-deceased by his wife Carmel, his parents Maurice and Margaret, his brother Jim, his sisters-in-law Clare, Bríd, brothers-in-law Barry, Senan, Ciarán, grandson Pádraig, niece Mary-Clare and nephew David.

Forever lovingly remembered by his daughter Máire, sons Mícheál, Colm and Félim, sisters Joan, Mary and Berna, brother Kevin, grandchildren Eimear, Niamh, Úna, Orlaith, Ailís, Mícheál and Aoife, sisters-in-law Patricia, Noeleen, Imelda, Marie and Mary, daughters-in-law Mary and Sheila, as well as all his extended Collins and O'Connor families and his many cherished friends, neighbours and colleagues from Rice College, Ennis.

The family is extremely grateful to all the medical staff and carers who provided loving care to Michael at home, in hospital and at the nursing home.

Michael will be reposing in the Church of our Lady, Roslevan (V95 A253) on Sunday 28th December from 5pm to 7pm.

Funeral mass will be held on Monday, December 29th at 11am at the Church of Our Lady, Roslevan, followed by burial in the grounds of St Brecan's Church, Doora (V95 D544).
