Michael CONNOLLY

Michael Connolly of Craan, Leighlinbridge, Co Carlow, passed away peacefully following a long illness, surrounded by his loving family, on February 7th, 2026 at his home.

 

Predeceased by his son Willie, his parents William and Mary and his brothers Tom, Eamon, Séan and Bill.

 

He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Tess, children Valerie, Frank, Tom, Fiona, Eamon, Sharon and John, his sister Mary, grandchildren Joe, Liam, Mary, Aífe, Leah, Jack and Rachael, daughters-in-law Sharon, Winnie and Anne, sons-in-law John and Michael, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

 

May Michael’s Gentle Soul Rest In Peace

 

Michael will repose at Carpenter Bros Funeral Home, Shamrock Sq (R93 C863) on Monday February 9th from 3pm concluding with Prayers at 7pm that evening. Funeral Mass on Tuesday at 11am in St Lazerian’s Church, Leighlinbridge followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery
