The death has occurred of
Michael Connolly
Connolly (London & Cork) on September 21st 2023, unexpectedly at the Cork University Hospital; Michael, Mt. Nebo Avenue, Gurranabraher (late Taxi Driver & FAI Referee). Beloved husband of Jane (nee Canty) and loving father of Paul, Jean (Sharpe), Michael and Mandy (Harris). Sadly missed by his loving wife, family, grandchildren Karen, Janet, Aidan, Maeve, Ryan, Emma, Katie, Dylan, Leah and Gavin, great-grandchildren Faye, Iris and Ben, sister Sylvia, nieces, sons-in-law Roy and Paul, daughters-in-law Lisa and Stephanie, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Visitation at O’Connor Bros. Funeral Home, North Gate Bridge, on Tuesday, 26th September, from 5pm-6pm with prayers at 5.45pm. Requiem Mass on Wednesday, 27th September, at 11am at the North Cathedral. Michael’s Mass will be lived streamed on the following link: https://www.corkcathedral.ie/live-stream/. Cremation afterwards at the Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy.
