Unexpectedly but peacefully at his home on 13th April 2026. Beloved husband and best friend of Ann (nee O'Neill) and adored father of John, Alison and Suzanne. He will be sadly missed by his sorrowing wife, son, daughters, sons-in-law Bill and Damien, daughter-in-law Shirley, his cherished grandchildren Liam, Luke, Shauna, Ava, Sam and Terry, brothers Frank, Pat and Declan, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.
May he rest in peace.
Reposing at Sweeney’s Funeral Home from 4pm until 7pm on Wednesday. Removal on Thursday morning at 9.30 to St.’s Mary and Peter’s Church arriving for Requiem Mass at 10 o’clock. Those who cannot attend are welcome to join via webcam;

Funeral afterwards to Mount Jerome Crematorium, walking to The Nineteen Arches Bridge. Michael’s Committal Service will be held at 1pm in the Victorian Chapel and this too can be viewed via webcam;
