Michael Costello

COSTELLO Michael (Killiney and late of Costello’s Hardware, Patrick St., Dun Laoghaire) January 3, 2024. Michael passed peacefully, in his 86th year, surrounded by his loving family, at St. Vincent’s University Hospital. Beloved husband of Christina and beloved father of Brian, Susan, Stephen, Denise and Paul. Grieved and sadly missed by his wife, sons, daughters, and their partners Alison, Nicola and Michael, grandchildren Ryan, Kara, Chloë, Eibhlin, Richard, Saoirse and Lily, brother and sister in-laws, nieces, nephews and extensive extended family and friends. The family also recognise the many loyal customers established over 70 years of trading in Patrick St, Dun Laoghaire and all at Woodbrook Golf Club where he was an enthusiastic golfing member for almost 70 years.

Reposing on Saturday, January 6th from 3pm-5pm in Carnegies Funeral Home, Monkstown, A94 XK28. Funeral Mass at 10am on Monday, January 8th, in St. Michael’s Church, Dun Laoghaire followed by burial at Deansgrange Cemetery. Messages of Condolence can be left for the family in the section below.
