CREAN (Cork) on March 25th, 2026 (peacefully) in the presence of his loving family and in the exceptional care of the nurses and staff of St. Finbarr’s Ward, Mercy University Hospital, MICHAEL, Gurranabraher Avenue, Gurranabraher (late Cork Racing Pigeon Federation & Founder of North-West Racing Pigeon Club). Beloved husband of the late Mary (nee Buckley), loving father of Margaret, Neil & Michelle, son of the late Nicholas & Margaret and brother of Mary and the late Joseph & Julia. Sadly missed by his loving family, grandchildren Lauren, Ryan, Daniel & Luke, sister, nephews, nieces, daughter-in-law Eimear, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at O’Connor Bros. Funeral Home, North Gate Bridge. Visitation on Friday (27th) from 6:00pm to 7:00pm with prayers at 6:45pm. Requiem Mass at 10:00am on Saturday (28th) at the North Cathedral. (Michael's Requiem Mass will be live streamed at https://www.churchservices.tv/corkcathedral). Funeral afterwards to St Catherine’s Cemetery, Kilcully.
