On March 7th, 2026, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family and in the exceptional care of the wonderful staff at Midleton Community Hospital.
Beloved and much-loved husband of Betty (née O’Sullivan, Youghal). Cherished and devoted dad of Alan, Rachel, Lisa and Michael. Adored grandad of Kelly, Emma, Shane, Alex, Zoe, Leon, Jamie and Betty, and treasured great-grandad of Ali-Rae.
Predeceased by his parents Michael and Mary Rose, his brother Harry and his uncle Jamie.
Michael will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, sons, daughters, son-in-law John, daughters-in-law Colette, Cathy and Linda, his adored grandchildren and great-grandchild, sisters-in-law Mary and Betty, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
May Michael Rest in Peace.
Michael will repose in O’Farrell’s Funeral Home, Riverside Way, Midleton, P25 X382 on Tuesday 10th March from 5.00pm to 6.30pm.
Reception into Church of the Most Holy Rosary, Midleton on Wednesday 11th March for 11.00am Funeral Mass, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
