Michael Deane

DEANE (Glanmire, Cork) On January 10th 2024, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at the Cork University Hospital, MICHAEL, beloved husband of Mary, loving father of Thérèse, Sue, Brian and Paul, adored grandfather of Teddy, Zara, Robin and Rhys, father-in-law of Dee, Billy and Derek.

Michael will be sadly missed by his devoted family, brother, sisters, nieces, nephews, friends, neighbours and former colleagues.

Reposing at Barry Bros. Funeral Home, Hazelwood, Glanmire on Sunday (January 14th) from 4.00pm, followed by a service at 4.30pm.

Celebration of Michael’s life will take place on Monday (January 15th) at 11.00am at The Island Crematorium, Rocky Island, Ringaskiddy.

The Deane family would like to sincerely thank the wonderful nurses and medical staff at Cork University Hospital for the care, kindness and companionship they showed Michael.
